HYUNDAI WIA was selected as an excellent company in the Compliance Program (CP).

On December 19th, HYUNDAI WIA announced that it had received an AA rating from the Fair Trade Commission’s ‘2025 Second Half CP forum and Evaluation Award Ceremony’ held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul. Compliance Program (CP) is a policy introduced by the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) to encourage companies to voluntarily comply with fair trade-related laws. Since 2006, the FTC has evaluated how companies implement and operate their CPs and assign  ratings accordingly.

HYUNDAI WIA has received an AA rating for two consecutive years.

HYUNDAI WIA was highly evaluated for its diligent operation of the CP program. First, the CEO regularly receives and reviews reports on the status of CP operations. Additionally, the company actively promotes events to encourage participation and strengthen internal fair trade compliance.  The systematic management of CP activities across each business division using quantitative KPIs also contributed positively to the evaluation.

HYUNDAI WIA’s systematic operation of its CP contributed to the company receiving a high evaluation. HYUNDAI WIA ensures that employees engage with the CP in various ways and regularly reviews participation and utilization rates through awareness surveys. Following amendments to internal policies, all employees are now required to complete CP training, along with additional education and evaluations. All new employees should receive education on fair trade, and those in positions with a high risk of legal violations are required to take an assessment after additional training. Furthermore, the company has enhanced effectiveness of its CP through regular, special courses and online education.

HYUNDAI WIA plans to further strengthen CP education on an ongoing basis to firmly establish a culture of voluntary fair trade compliance within the company. “We will continue to improve our policies and training programs  to enhance our CP” adding, “All employees will endeavor to  foster the corporate culture in which all employees comply with fair trade principles and grow together for mutual prosperity, said an official from HYUNDAI WIA.
